Sorry paint job

Last week I finally had a chance to wash and clay bar our white '08. And my advise to ALL HHR owners is if you hadn't clay barred yours DO IT. I had seen other post concerning rail dust on our cars and was amazed at the amount that was on ours. But, back to my concerning post. While I was going over it I found numerous places of thin paint on the front and rear bumpers, in the door jambs, and underside of the hood. Has any other owners found simular circumstances and if so what did you do? TIA

I know what you mean about a rough finish from the assembly plant. I clay barred mine using products from Adam's Polishes. What a difference! Don't see any thin paint, and I've been over mine many times with detail spray. BW

Our '06 Black one was fine too. I think maybe cause this one is white that thin paint shows easier.
