Spark Plug Replacement Schedul

How often do you guys replace spark plugs on your HHRs? The last time I replaced mine was about 60k miles ago when the old one had 75k miles on them.

Every 100,000 miles, with 41-103 Iridium AC Delco plugs.

Yes the book says 100k. But just for grins pull one out at 90k. Not so nice looking. Even by then the electrode is getting shorter. It would not hurt a thing to change them a little early. On my HHR I think I did mine at 97 because I knew I wasn't going to have time when it was going to hit 100k.

How many remember changing them once a year? Along with the rotor and points. My, you haven't lived until you've set dwell and timing.

In real life, of course it’s your ride , change them when you feel the need to.

My built 225 slant six was every 6 months... It was worth it though. Just the look on the guy's face when you smoked his small block chevy or ford and then lifted the hood and showed off that inline 6... priceless.

X2 - it's basically change them when you want - or change them when they cause a problem - or change them at the recommended interval as per the owners manual.
