I have noticed that there is a squeaking sound coming from what appears to be the rear area of the car when making slow turns. This is usaully with the body and suspension leaning and settling. I hear it every time I drive in the parking garage at work. Slight off camber turns cause it the most. The HHR has 53k miles on it BTW. I checked under the car for loose components such as the muffler and tail pipe and could fine nothing.
Anyone else have this issue. Thanks in advance.

 

Check to see what the spring isolation pads look like between the springs and the body. After last winter, both of mine had fallen apart. I found one of them in the driveway one morning......Why these were make of foam instead of rubber, I will never know.

 

Thanks alot. I'll crawl under it again and take a look. Maybe someone makes rubber replacement.
