Stalling motor. Larger than we know ?

Hello,
I talked to my coworker today and asked if they had fixed the problem. He said it seems to be ok now. They told him they found a wire going to one of the fuel injectors chafed threw and grounding out?
Would 1 injector kill the whole engine without some spuddering ?
Craig~

I can't answer that but since you both live in the same area, did you consider bad gas? I know you guys have had a ton of rain lately.
Last summer I had the check engine light come on and the code was a bad oxygen sensor. Fortunately, mine never stalled on me. Then I read in the owner's manual about how you should use gas from the same station every time. Apparently gas can vary enough to trigger the check engine light.
I'd find a station with reliable gas and stick to that one or others selling the same brand of gas.
By the way, my problem occurred shortly after buying the HHR also. However, I haven't seen the problem since that first time.

Where in the manual does it say that? I just went through the whole section on fuel and there is not statement like that that I could find.
