Steering Grind?

Steering Grind?
I think grind is the proper word... It's kinda hard to explain. I'll start from the top. So I've had a problem crop up. when i turn the wheel i get a a clunk and a bit of a grind, but It's only in certain spots. in the same spot so every 360degrees it happens in the same spot. I took the car back to where i bought it and they said they "Greased the top of the rack" Not 100% sure what that means but the noise went away. a week later it's starting to come back. I am at a complete loss as to what it is. Not sure if it's worth taking it to Chevy and see if it is related to the TSB. It also rattles at low speeds to. I should've started with I own a 2006 HHR Spring Edition with 120000 KM so barely any mileage on her. I will attempt to take a video of the noise later so you can give an opinion.
Has anyone had something similar to what I described?

The other link is the SEARCH tool. There are literally thousands of posts about front end noise. A bit of scrolling and reading will most likely lead you to a solution.
There are thousands of TSBs, which are you referencing?

There are a few possibilities, i would guess from your description a good start would be checking the top strut mounts for the turning grind. The rattling is likely sway bar end links, control arm bushings or steering shaft. These are only starting points for diagnosis, but the most common.
