Unhappy Strange Problem! no power at all.

So i did something a bit dumb I took out my under hood fuse box. I've had a lot of engine codes lately and no matter what i replace they will not go away so i checked the wires to the fuse box everything looks fine I didn't find any loose connections but now i have no power to the car what so ever. The Battery was disconnected when i did this and there is still 90% power in it. The fuses are all fine as well from the battery to the main fuse box under the hood. I am seriously at a loss here. Any help would be very appreciated, i love my HHR!

I did that too. Did you remove then attempt to put back in the threaded studs? One of mine wouldn't go it quite right, resulting in the exact same situation you're experiencing. Try redoing the fuse box. Thread the studs to the connectors below and pull UP on them. This will further seat the lower connector that the stud threads to. Then tighten snug, like. Hand snug.

Again. Redo your fuse box. My rear wiper was going haywire, temp read "---" it was all miffed.

no power?

When I first got my HHR I was going to add a chip for more HP tried to unbolt the battery cable had a mech. had to use a torque wrench and broke the small copper stripp to the fuse box no power had to use a large haed screw to make a connection to the fuse box benn that way for 3 years no problems, whty the factory had it torqued so the Chevy Dealer would not unlossen the bolt for me said the factory used Lockite? good luck.

You're right, Jay. Dealership replaced my box due to that lead snapping. I guess its very common.

Its an electric engine for your steering. Its all related. Something is funky with that box.
