Strange Radio Noise

About the only thing it's good for around here is if you're into talk radio, religious programming, and I think some sports programming gets played on AM. I can honestly say I have never listened to it myself.

Has anyone heard a strange noise on their AM radio? It sounds like a high pitched, warbling, high speed Morse Code. It appears most prevelant on 1380 Khz and 1400 Khz on moderatly weak stations, but not every weaker station around those frequencies and I don't hear it where there is no station heard. It only does this when driving down the road. I know what the cause is and will probably just live with it rather that have Mr. Badwrench mess something up.
I have a 1LT with the stock radio that includes the MP3 player and Radio Data System but not the CD changer.
Now everybody hit the road and tune around on the AM band

The cause is on board every HHR built. Not from cell phones or Space Aliens
I asked a serious question and didn't expect a bunch of flippant responses.
