Chad, you don't know for sure that locking up the brakes caused the problem, my suggestion was to not mention it, so they would not have a convenient reason for not replacing it under warranty. I don't know that they would use it, but no since taking the chance.

Maybe they should put a warning on tires now stating "do not lock brakes up it will create a flat spot in tire" LMAO

Chad....

It really depends on how hard and long the "lock-up" was. If it was momentary I don't think much "grinding" was done. But, you had to be aware that locking the brakes and skidding causes "flat-spotting".

Like ChevyMgr says.....don't mention it when you take it in.
