Suggestion for extended warranty

So, i'm reading about these problems and wondering if i should get an extended warranty for my 06 2LT. Does anyone have a suggestion? Chevymgr, would my local dealer have a better deal or would it just be best to get it there.

I would suggest contacting GMPP (GM Protection Plan) at this number and see what they will sell you one for. Call 800-631-5590. Most aftermarket warranties are not worth the paper they are written on, although some are decent.

Someone suggested getting the GMPP warranty from the dealer below to me. I haven't called them yet but am planning to check it out.

I believe you can get a better price by calling directly to GMPP, but I may be wrong. It's worth a try to get a dealer quote and then call them direct and see if you can save some cash.
