sun visor - alternate gm parts compat

I think it was my S10 that had a plastic insert that could be pulled out to extend the length of a visor, other cars had them too. Handy when moved to the side window position. The ones in my HHR do not have this.

Anyone try using one of these in an HHR?

Not seeing the need for those on the HHR. Smaller windows on our cars that the stock visor can cover.
I guess you know that the visors are "adjustable" ? ( slide on the visor shaft)

And most of them do that, but it amazes me how many people don't know that.

We had a member a few years ago complaining that he couldn't flip the visor up because the mirror was in the way. Turned out to be a simple fix.

lol not judging but someone really posted about that? Wow. Did they also ask what the pedals on the floor do or what the big circle is for?

It does as long as I don't lean the seat all of the way back. YMMV.

But it appears that the mounting is the same except for wiring. You might try the junkyard route to see.

Yeah, its sunny here nearly all year and seems I'm always finding the wrong angles. The gap will find me, especially the drivers side. I suppose I *could* lean forward when I drive. lol.
