Sway bar links
Hello:
had my sway bar links replaced via indep. shop for $150. All noise now gone--thank the stars!
A few questions:
was this covered under the extended warranty?
if so---can I get a refund or am I out of luck because I did not take it to a dealer?
was there ever a call back and/or secret bulletin on this?
thx

There are thousands of extended service contract providers. You would have to call them and find this out.
See above ^
No recall and bulletins are never "secret". You just have to know how to find them. Try this thread if you are curious. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/problems-service-repairs-42/official-tsb-recall-thread-23231/
Technical service bulletins do not mean a car will be fixed for free, just that GM has issued a better way to fix a vehicle with a certain problem.
