Sway bar stop problem
Got a 2007 2.4 lt 2 and when I had my control arms replaced found out the sway bar was rubbing on the top control arm on the passenger side the driver side has plenty of room .. my first thought was the sway bar links are too long but it had the right 10 inch links it’s fe 3 suspension.. so took by a mechanic and had a look and the plastic stops are cracked allowing to move past .. so is there anyway to fix it ? I looked for parts and I don’t see any ? Or is it part of the sway bar ? Any inputs thanks ...

I've never had to deal with this, myself.... so I'm probably totally wrong.
I would think before clamping it in place, getting it back on center could be accomplished with a BFH... It's just going to be sliding through the rubber bushings. Maybe a little WD-40 to get things moving.

Yeah, actually I have seen this before. Most times if you just re-center it, it won't "walk" again - unless there's a reason. Like something has bent, or the cradle has shifted (my case, due to a ditch visit that put all the weight on the right side of car). Center it first, then decide if you need better containment. They are supposed to move a little, anyways.
