I've got them as well. Question is how do you get them out?

Well I'm gonna take it in the dealer some time next week probably if I don't hear anything from my uncle. Then I'll find a dent doctor see if it can be just an easy pop out, but that involves taking off the inside panel, so it all depends on what the warranty allows or disallows me to do. I'll keep you updated.

i think too much

i really don't think this comes from pulling the door open. i think someone has pushed too hard closing the door. i could be wrong. you know , i was wrong once , it was the time i thought i was wrong , but i was wrong about me being wrong. i am sorry about all you peoples doors. i use mine 6 times a day , i haven't noticed any dents , yet. i open with a little pull on the release latch and let the shocks do the rest. i close by using the little handle hole thingy. i have over loaded it. i still use the handle and slam it. no push.

From the time I got my HHR this has been atributed to using the beauty bar to close the hatch. I think at one time there was a GM bulliten posted about it though I may be wrong about that. Saddly this is a too common problem. I always use the cup on the underside to pull it down and then if I need to the bottom edge of the hatch.

Knowing how thin the Metal is you just need to use caution when closing! We've had ours for a year now and have always closed it at the rear Bow-Tie location using minimal presure! They just don't make them like they used to! It's all about the MPG's!

I bought my HHR used and I didn't see it there when I bought it. It might of been there but I know I close the door at the bottom edge and don't slam it. I thought it may of happened in a parking lot until I read on here that others had the same problem, same place. I would also like to get it out, looks like 'ell on a black vehicle.

Totally agree with the I didn't notice comment! Ours has an impression on both sides of the Hood at the hinge area! This is a design flaw in which the metal is to thin for the hinge design! Our Dent Guy now knows us on a first name basis!

Well I took it in today to get looked at finally, and they agree it's a factory issue sicne they couldn't find any other way the dents could have accord. Their bringing a guy in tomorrow to see if they push out the dents without having to do any body work, which I hope they can. Unfortunately when I went to the dealership they didn't have any used HHR left to see if any of them had the same dents. The Parts manager believes that it might be an issue with the stamping since there's a crease that the buckling seems to travel to.
