Tail Light issue : Think its a fuse?

Rear Left Tail Light - Lights up

But is not blinking when flashers are put on or when left turn signal is set. left turn signal is giving the "light out" super fast flash but the light isn't out?

is this still a replace light issue or is this a fuse issue?

Cool you need a new bulb...

I believe you need a new bulb in the back, as it is probably a dual filament bulb and the flashing portion can burn out but it will still light up...I had this issue on previous vehicles, does your blinker on the dash either flash really fast or stay lit?

sounds like a bulb, does the turn-signal flash quicker than normal? If so its the bulb

thx for the info, did some research and really had no idea about "dual filament" bulbs... makes much more sense to me now!

Happened to me this past weekend.

The hardest part was getting that damned hard foam/sound barrier padding out to get to the bulb. Of course it was freezing cold which didn't help any.

I replaced the bulb with a GE Long Life bulb.

Hmm, I havent changed the bulb yet, but when I took the interior access panel out to look in there, I only saw the wires leading to the bulb, no padding. Maybe my eyes and/or memory acting up again.

At least on my 06, the wires go through the padding, so when I took the panel off I did see wires, but could not see the bulb assembly until the foam was removed.

The padding is hard foam about 2" thick and isn't very flexible.
