tail lights stay on

tail lights stay on

Not to change subject but my taillights stay on touring day time and can't figure out why? They should be off its 2007 ls....I seen other hhr and there off..other then that I like work in on hhrs :-):-)

Are you sure it's the tail lights, not the brake lights?

it is the tail lights and marker lights along with drl.. This why I mention it and can't figure I out .. The lights are on automatic but if I click down on the stalk they go out like there suppose to..

Then it sounds like the automatic headlight sensor may be turning the headlights to the "On" or night time setting.
Check that there is nothing covering or obstructing the sensor itself.
(It's the little bulb looking thing, center of the dash, next to the windshield glass)

Nothing blocking it,maybe the sensor being bad?
