Smile TCM module and ECM

I've got an 07 with over 255k on it. Replaced the auto trans at 190k. And now, the TCM had an issue that indicated the module needed replaced. Did that, now the ECM is giving a code indicating a data breakdown. And needs replaced. All this after a catalytic converter issue and a fuel line problem that was literally minutes from going catastrophic. Lots of $ but hopefully, another couple of years of life for my "little red wagon".

What is "a code indicating a data breakdown" ? Doesn't it have a number?

A new trans could mean the TCM would need some tweaking. Or, the technician was careful when removing the fuse box and eithe frayed some wires or zapped the modules.

From you post I have no idea what is going on.

If the cat was that close to catastrophic failure , you got more problems than just the ECM!
So, how about a more detailed account of what has transpired and what was done .
