Jumper wire is from socket 87 to socket 30.
This is on a Ford, but like Don said, all relays are labeled the same.

I moved all of isolated's stuff to this thread he started earlier, then started posting in another thread. Maybe solves confusion.

If those pins are not always hot there is an internal fault of the fuse box.

pin 30 is hot but 85 and 86 and 87 are not. We jumped 30 to 87 and the starter spun which was a very welcome sound. But still no start. We split the fuse box but saw no obvious problem. What next?

Try switching relays.

we dd switch relays. did not make a difference. I guess I do not understand the difference between a post and a thread but I am happy to proceed with whichever format you prefer. It has often been said that my technology elevator does not go to the top floor.

I will have a look at the neutral safety switch. I have found the ground wire voltage sensor . what does it do and how can i tell if it is damaged?

Read this, it will explain the function of that sensor.

I removed top of fuse box but both halves look perfect. pin 30 is hot but 85 and 86 and 87 are not. Could the problem be the power coming into the fuse box ?

Hard to believe that the power will go through a jumper wire but not through a good relay. I have tried switching relays
