Well, I've been waiting for my friend's shop(and lift) to become available. We were hoping for sometime this month, but he got back to me today, it's going to be awhile.

So I ordered up the new LDK today, shipping to my house. I got the farm jacks from Harbor freight, I'll do the swap in the driveway. He did offer use of his engine hoist.

I already have the gaskets, GMS1 MAP sensors, flywheel bolts, downpipe, Opel fuel injector rail, timing chain guide bolt, and Comp Cams break-in oil. Except for some of the gaskets, all from ZZP.

I'll send them my ECM for tuning while I'm doing the swap. They estimate an added 50 WHP.

I've made some good progress this week. Today I lowered the package, jacked the car way up high, and rolled the package out. Transferred all the exhaust/turbo stuff to the new engine.

When I split the engine and transmission, this little spring flew out. Does anyone know where it's supposed to go?

The exhaust side came open first, and that's where I saw it pop out.
