This screwdriver handle fits snug and engages some of the splines!

Looks like this clutch, although it never slipped at all, is near the end of it's life.

that’s pretty much done!

use that same screw drivers handle and
Take a picture of the flywheel surface and FMG and I can tell you if it needs resurfacing or did you get a new one.

Flywheel looks great to me, but I'm certainly no expert.

It’s worn a bit, see the ridge on the inner and outer edge, I’d have it resurfaced, much easier now while you have it out of the SS .
I’d also recommend you closely inspect the teeth on the ring gear , any wear from the starter bendix drive?

I can feel the inner ridge with fingernail, but not with finger. The ring gear looks good, no damage. I'll take it to a shop, see what they recommend.

Since you're replacing with a new clutch and pressure plate, it's always recommended to resurface the flywheel.
Same principle as doing brakes. You wouldn't put new pads or shoes on worn rotors or drums.

RJ- When re-using the same flywheel, (before removal) I always mark it's orientation to the crank. So it can be re-installed in same position.
That flywheel looks to have some light hotspots, besides the wear.

I saw the same thing. That's signs of slippage and the wheel got heat checked.
Also have the flywheel ground, not cut as you would with a brake rotor or drum..
