here's a link for the code. Sounds like a CPS is either bad or poorly connected.

Starter should not drag, ever.

Sorry for the late reply. The starter doesn't drag, the car does when I accelerate. I saw that one cause for this code I'd a bad starter (ironic since that actually had gone bad). This error code hasn't come back since I cleared it after replacing the starter. Should I replace the cps anyways?

So, apparently my camshaft position actuator solenoid is what's failing. Although dealer fears possibly loose timing chain, my money is on the solenoid.

The code of P0341 refers to the Crankshaft Position Sensor, not the Camshaft Actuator Solenoid (which would be typically indicated by a P0010/11 or P0013/14) - you might want to check into that a bit deeper.

Yeah. I just had 2 ignition recalls done on my car and the check engine light and traction control light came on. The dealer scanned the codes and said it pointed to the solenoid. I'm gonna try that one first.

What was the code? The code will point to the specific solenoid as per the how-to article on how to replace them: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...13-14-a-28779/

Man, that is a great write-up!!!

They didn't tell me what the code was, they just said they pulled it and it said the actuator solenoid was bad.

The Chevy dealer diagnosed it.
