"freak".....
The sensors occasionally have transmission and reception problems. Happened to me a couple of times on different vehicles. No matter how hard you work at the programming procedure, it just will not read one of the from a tire.
I took mine to the dealer and they reset it with their Tech II. Takes maybe 10 minutes. Didn't cost anything. You're under warranty.....take it to the dealer.....no big deal.
I doubt if you are having trouble with a battery. Everyone I know gets between 5-7 years.......almost like my Delco

Alright, I redid the reprogramming this evening and everything went normal until I got to the last tire. It would not register with the system. I redid the reprogramming three times, each with the same result. I take it that the sensor is dead on the right rear. I am due for new tires any ways, so I'll just go ahead and get some new sensors while I'm at it. Is there a certain kind I have to get or are they pretty much universal?
And no, not universal, be prepared; a tire store will be getting upwards of $80 each (and buying from the local GM dealer) + install. You never have given year, I assUme it's 2008-2009. Before and after might be different.

Sorry if I wasn't clear on what tire. It's the left rear tire. Thanks for letting me know that they are not universal. I have a 2010 model.

If so you will need to replace the bad sensor before you can relearn the sensors correctly.

Yes, but here's the thing, the right front was reading incorrectly. Even when I got my tires rotated, the right front was still reading incorrectly. It kept showing that the pressure in that tire was low but it wasn't. Yesterday the warning light came on saying it was too low. When I checked the pressure it was fine, that's what made me look problem up in the manual and tried the reset. Now it's not reading any of the tires now.
