Tpms relearn tech 2

I made 4X8 index cards and laminated them and put them inside all off my HHR's gloveboxes. My kid who does not have a key fob came over last night with an issue. He had replaced the TPMS sensor in one of his tires but did not know how to relearn it without a key fob. So I updated the index cards for TPMS Relearn. The card now has a front and back, key fob method and Tech 2 method. I figured I would share this since I have never seen the tech 2 method posted.

I included the actual word files below. It is already formatted to print out on a 4X6 index card.
Attached Files
File Type: docx
HHR TPMS RESET TECH2.docx (15.1 KB, 243 views)
File Type: docx
HHR TPMS RESET KEY FOB.docx (14.8 KB, 128 views)

Oh and here is the CHANGE THE OIL card. This is for the kids 2009 2.2L, if you have an SS, you will want to go with synthetic.

Another thing about TPMS relearn, for either method, if you don't have the EL-50448 tool, get one!! It sure makes the entire process easier and way faster. You do not have to let air out of the tires, just hold this tool against tire wall next to TPMS and it recognizes it in 2-5 seconds, horn chirps, move to the next. This tool can be found on ebay for less than $10.

nice, thanks!
On Fob method, step 4 refers to as in "step 5", do you mean step 3.

Nice reference

I'm glad I sold mine when I did for $65 3 years ago.
