TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System)
Has this happened to anyone??
I was driving home lastnight and my TPMS light came on. I checked through myy display what my tire pressure was and only dashes. So, I got home and checked all the tires. Most of them were at 32-33 psi. Since my TPMS light was on. My remote entry/ remote start would not work at all (either remotes that I have). So I put air in them to get them to 35 psi. Once they were done. I started my car with the key and the light went off and still had dases on the screen. But once I turned the car off, I checked the remote and it worked! Then restarted my car and the screen had the correct psi for each tire and the TPMS went off.
Now, this morning I went to remote start my car and unlock the doors.... and noting again. So I started it up with the key drove to work. The TPMS light was on including dashes again. Once I got to work (15-20) away. The light was still one, but the screen read the correct tire pressure...
Anyone have any ideas?? The only thing I did recently was install a new radio. But that shouldn't have anything to do with the TPMS.

Less than 30 minutes once the tech starts working on it. Your time at the dealership will depend on how busy they are when you get there.
Here is a thread to learn a lot about the TPM.

This same thing has been happening to my car. It has been in the shop (4) times to TRY to fix the problem. The service manager REFUSES to replace the receiving unit in the car. The only thing that he has done is replace (1) sensor, rotate tires, and download software. Every time the indicator light comes on, it is always the Right Rear. After he rotates the tire, he says he reprograms the locations of the sensors. I have already contacted my attorney and he said that I have a good case for the lemon law here in Michigan. Believe me, I will exercise my right to have GM buy back this piece of @#$^%$#*.
