Traction control and fog light buttons get hot

Has anyone else experienced this? It usually only does it after driving for about an hour. Maybe it is just from running the heater but everything else around it is cool.

Dealer said it was most likely just the heater but only those 2 buttons get hot.

I know on any car I've had the radio gets hot...I would assume that it's the same reason as those buttons, but I haven't noticed on mine.

I just went from an 06 LS to an 09 2LT so the TC and fog light buttons are new to me. I noticed that mine, also, get very warm when the interior lights have been on for a while. I use them as finger warmers on really cold mornings.

Normal for most HHR's....

Course, if you push my buttons, I get hot too.

I had same issue, try turning down the light intensity for all interior lights. Seemed to work in mine i have the little intensity knob at half way to three quarters. only at night that you notice right?
