Traction control light/ check engine P0301
I've searched the forums. I got the code pulled as a P0301. I bought 4 new spark plugs. Should I replace coil packs as well as the Cam Shaft Position Actuator Valves or is that wasting money?
suggestions?

I would repair the misfire code first. There can be many things that can cause it.
The spark plugs are the best place to start. I would change the plugs and swap coil 1 with cyl number 4.
If your misfire returns to number 1 your next step would be a compression test if your misfire returns to number 4 you will know you need to replace the coil.
The traction control may be disabled because or the misfire code

Thank you for the input. I replaced the plugs and cleaned the MAF, but the Engine light stayed on and the T/C light still comes on. Which side of the engine is Cylinder #1? Passenger side or Drivers? and what coil pack is #4 if I am standing at the front bumper looking towards the engine?

I disconnected the batt and cleared the codes (thanks!) But after a brief test drive, the engine light came back on as well as the T/C light. The engine seems a bit rough at a stop light and that is when the light comes on.
I've switched the coil packs and cleared the codes again, going to take a ride to autozone and have it read to see if its changed to P0304.
