Update: I’m checking the battery even now. However, some of the questions that were raised got me to thinking and I went back and checked. Lo and behold upon exercising the MAF electrical connector on the air filter housing one of my trouble codes has cleared up. So now my check engine light has gone out and the transmission shifts more easily. I still have the P0030 O2 sensor code and myT/C light is still on, but it feels like progress!

Interesting.
How would one pursue that possibility?

I don’t know if a particular chain of stores uses the the same scan tool universally, but when I scanned and got nadda at home, the local O’Reilly store, chosen because they were closest, picked up the C codes that were behind my ESC light.

Battery is looking good.

I’m not looking forward to checking the wiring w/o a lift. Oh well.

But I doubt that. So get the codes read, write them down and post them here, not that we don’t trust that counter guy at the parts palace, but if he tells you it’s a brake problem he might be right but probably not even close.
In Re the ABS sensors. If there’s a problem w them there will be code, right?
At the moment all i’m showing is the O2 code

You don’t really need a lift to check wires, most go over the top of the engine and transmission

check for the wires at the o2 sensors, the first one is assessable from the top, after you remove the air cleaner box.
look for rodent chewing marks on the harness plastic cover.
