More of a seal than an o ring , not take one to work and check it out if you can have the HHR down till you get parts

Thanks, now I seem to remember I've asked you before. Getting older, memory is usually the second thing to go.

But, of course, nobody has defined "getting wet". Maybe water is on them.

Nobody has defined the location of the "wet". Could be something else blowing around.

If I remember correctly memory was the third thing to go.

Whats on the hose is trans fluid. When rubbed in your fingers it can clean them, showing the detergent properties of the oil.

So it's more of a square cut seal than an O ring.

From what I recall from last year when I replaced the hose assembly $115.00 CDN and noticed the seals were the issue!

It's a hose, which means there are 2 ends that could leak and the entire length that could have a crack.

What I am getting at is: if you won't look for the leak you are wasting your time and money throwing parts around.

This is all the facts we are working with "My tranny cooler lines are getting wet."

Might as well say "My tires are getting wet." Then get all offended if somebody asks if it is only after driving through a puddle. Because you obviously need new tires, and only the dealership can fix it.

Here is a way to get pictures of parts:
Go to the link provided above, and copy the part number of interest into a eBay.com search. Lots of photos of most parts.
