Turn Signal lever malfunction

When using my turn signal lever and completeing a turn, the lever is not returning back to it's nutural position on it's own. Not a lane change but a full turn. I've even tried turning the wheel to it's max turning radius and it will not go back.
I manually move it back to the center position after making a turn.
All other functions off that lever work fine.
I've RTFOM (Read The Friendly Owners Manual) and havent' figured the problem.
Going to the dealer is an option after seeing feedback from ya'll here.
It's gotta be something simple!
Input gang...

I would take it to the dealer. They will have to replace the turn signal switch. In side the switch there is a little tab that controls the switch to go back to nutral when you turn the wheel back to center, and it must of broke off. I see that happen at work on the big trucks all the time. Well thats what I think could be wrong. Keep us posted on it Sindy.

BlackHHR is on the right track we have owned 2 other GM vehicles that had that same problem and they both needed new switches. Our Beretta z26 was a nightmare! It took the dealer 3 times to get it right. They had troubles hooking up all the functions.(CC,wipers,ETC) Our Pontiac Grand Am was in and out in less than 30 mins with no problems. I hope your is corrected easily.

Did you ever get that turn signal switch looked at? I got the same problem now after adding radio buttons.

No I haven't (yet). I need to call and make an appointment.
Although it's a warrantable issue, I think it's a small one that I can deal with for a few months.
Summer is here and I rarely have a free weekend. Weekends are the only time I have to take it in to the dealer. I'll go at the end of the season.
