Upgrade lamps to LED's
#2
There are lots of threads about led bulbs. To use LEDs you have to install a load resister with the turn signals. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will find lots of reading on the subject.

I installed some of these not too long ago.http://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-Red-3157-High-Power-Red-Blinker-Rear-Turn-Signal-Lamp-Bulb-3057-2013-/331108246616?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d1796e458 They don't require a resistor like the older types did. If you install them backwards they won't work right - just flip them over.

i think the canbus eliminates the need for resistors to stop the "hyper flash" aka fast blinking
I have switch backs as my turn signals..i dont really mind them flashing faster. Ive had them for almost a year installed and no problems with my flasher or anything.

These serve both the turn and stop lights and are a little brighter than the OEM bulbs. I do love the look. A while back one side hyperflashed and I swapped the bulbs (left to right) and it fixed it. I guess a computer senses the resistance and sets up accordingly. It recently started hyperflashing again on one side but I've not messed with it. I am still a happy customer. It looks cool, is a lot cheaper than the lamp assembly replacement, and between you and me I kinda like the hyperflash! If that's a bad thing, it's way down the baddy list...
