vibration

I have a 2009 HHR and a vibration has started while I idle, and it can be felt in the seats, the dash and sort of all around the front sitting area. Service tech used computer checks, and found no bad readings. What would be loose in the body, framing, or even any bushings that might cause this, since it doesn't seem to be an engine issue.

Motor/Transmission mounts? Loud noise maybe also, could be flex pipe.

Welcome to the site

I agree the motor mounts would be the first place I would look. Have you had any service work done just before this showed up?

Also check the mounting bracket that holds the air cleaner assembly they have been known to break letting the air cleaner assembly shake and flop around.

Well. If your service tech tried to find a vibration only using "computer checks", then I would suggest a new tech or repair shop. You need a hands on tech that can do more than rely on a computer screen.

Ditto on what the others said as far as mounts, brackets, flex pipe.

Oh yeah,

Unhappy still no answers

I have taken my 09 HHR to 2 dealerships and 3 small repair shops to try and find the vibration issue which is constant when the engine is on.
The vibration is across the dash, steering wheel, and drivers seat.
I have been told this is something that HAPPENS with the Eco engine.
When ever I can, I ask other HHR owners on the road, and non have had this issue. Only 23,000 miles on my car. All readings from HHR show no engine problems.
The costs for resolve is getting to be too much for me.

Well, first off it isn't "something that happens with the Eco engine".

What kinds of things have been checked so far, and verified to be ok?

Does the vibration increase with the speed of the engine when stopped and the engine revved? How about when going faster when driving?

Well. You posted up a previous thread about this. Many of the good members here posted suggestions of things for you to have looked at.
Then, you didn't bother to follow up on your previous thread to answer if you had checked out the suggestions.

Now you post up a new thread about the same problem?

Sorry, but suggestions were given. If you don't want to help out with finding a solution to your own problem, well it's hard to give any more advice,,,again.
