So you add more and more posts to an already too cluttered thread to complain that the thread is too cluttered to read?

You could just type "warped rotors" into the search box at the top center of this page, I am sure that you will get at least 100 other threads on the same subject.

In the search window type in adjust rear brakes, this will bring up how to adjust the rear drum type brake shoes, it is very similar to any 10 bolt rear axle drum brakes on GM products since 1964 or so. If you have the correct tools it is a simple job to adjust the star wheel on the shoe adjuster every 5,000 miles or every oil change

I have an SS, there is no adjustment on the rear. There is also a thread that refers to front bearings. There are many lengthy threads. Which one is correct?

This is just an ongoing issue with the HHR. I've even upgrade to the non Brembo disks and after about 30-35K, I had the issue return. But on the HHR it's also a cheap repair. Pair of rotors every couple of years I can live with. I'm hard on brakes in the Atlanta area. I just keep an extra set on hand, and when it pops up, get the set off the car turned and it's a quick swap. Just don't buy cheap parts and they will last longer.

What fixed mine was to replace the front brake hoses and calipers.

I was getting pulsation every 5000 miles or so. 10000 now and no problem. Adjustment has been fine on rear brakes and havent had to adjust it at all.

I think that rear disk brakes are adjusted by using the parking brake. I have no first hand experience.
