I got a good one 41+K miles on the clock and only a couple of recall items for dealer service and out of warrenty. I'm starting to look for tires as they are getting worn. Maybe 5-10K miles left on them.

I am only going to go back to 2002 and this is for non-diesel light duty vehicles.

2002-2006 (All except Aveo & Cobalt) = 3/36
2005 & 2006 Cobalt & Aveo = 3/36 and 5/50 powertrain
2007-2009 (All) = 3/36 and 5/100 powertrain
2002-2006 Certified Used Vehicles bought after 2/2/07 = 3/36 and 5/100 powertrain.

What exactly is covered on the Powertrain warranty?? Do you have a list or something. I told my dealer that my transmission was being shady and they said I was past the warranty period? I was like, isn't that powertrain? You nee the transmission to move the vehicle???

I looked at a GMPP site and it said for a 5yr/60k extended warranty with $100 deductible, would be:

$1840 Major Guard
$1685 Value Guard
$1375 Basic Guard

Might be worth it.
