I haven't ever seen one on an HHR, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I see a stress crack about once a year on any Chevys. Usually they start at the bottom of the windshield and go up, but sometimes at the side.

 

ChevyMgr- That's encouraging to hear.. Thanks for that...This is my first 'sidewinder'......

Last 2 trucks were Chevy S-10s' (1985, & 1998) that kept me going for 18+ yrs...

Anyhow, new windshield in, side window re-tinted & detailed again...

Looking good imo... After some good enjoyable traveling today..

I'm thinking I outta get the wheels off pretty soon, mainly to paint the calipers & drums..Add a little detail color..
But will inspect brakes while I'm in there..

I'm thinking Hi-Temp Red would work with the White body..
