Thanks! Yes the photo is very similar to dons. I just added the topside photo to let viewers see exactly where that tube was located plus that photo had a brake line on it which made me think that rusty part was the brake hub.

Some previous videos (non HHR) showed it on bottom of car) another said it was on the left side of the firewall, so had conflicting info and no visibility from above.
Its really hard to see from the topside mine was invisible because that felt liner stuff was pulled forward hiding it.

Once i was properly oriented and saw where the brake line was bent for reference I could feel around to to find it and push the felt back. Its not a rubber hose and can't be pulled out further. Its hard plastic PVC style.
