Well I had mine in three times last year for the leak and they apparently solved it.....I say apparently because last week it started again. Now it's back to the dealer to see what they can do this time. If they can't fix it this time I think it's time to start talking about them replacing it since this will be the 4th repair on the same problem. I really hate to even think about that because other than the leak I really love this car.

Well 90 days latter I have a new headliner in my HHR along with a new door seal on the passenger door. Now I wait for a good rain to see if it is fixed. I have to take it back to get my AC growl fix and passenger visor fixed (they bent the crap out of it when they installed the headliner) because they did not have all the parts on hand to fix them that day.

Wet Carpet Driverside / Wet Glove Box

I Too Have Encountered Two Water Problems With My 2006. Water In My Glove Box And A Soaked Drivers Side Carpet After Driving In The Rain. I Have An Appointment On Monday At The Dealers To See If They Can Fix The Problems. It Sounds Like Many People Have Had Serious Water Problems With The 2006 Hhr.

A/C Leak

Heater Case Gasket Installed by dealer.
I hope this cures the problem. We will see the next time I drive in heavy rain.

My leak resolved itself before I had a chance to take it back in so I am assuming it was debris in the sunroof drain tube that managed to wash out on. We have had horrendous downpours in the last few days and not a drop inside.

Carpet Stains

I will be taking my HHR back to the dealer in the morning to have the carpet cleaned. They did not do it when they fixed the heater A/C gasket. I had to call Chevrolet to get some action on this issue. They were very concerned and made a call to the dealer as I was on hold. Let's hope the leak is fixed and this problem is history.
Other than this water problem my HHR is a great vehicle.

Clean Carpet

I took my car back to the dealer yesterday and they cleaned the carpet the best they could. There still is a slight brown tint to my gray carpet from the flood. I can live with it as it is, but if the leak reoccurs and it floods again I am demanding new carpet. If it floods the third time, I want a new ride.

Thumbs down Soaked Passenger Floor

Well My 2007 HHR has been at the dealership since last Tuesday, It started leaking about two weeks ago, firs just a drip or two, then last Monday We had a rainstorm that lasted all night long, when i got up tuesday morning the passenger side floor was flooded, water was dripping from the right corner of the dashboard beside the glovebox. So far they have checked the seals on the air filter box and the fresh air intake and have not found anything leaking or looking like it could be leaking... Has anyone had a leak like this and if so what did they find?

Skyman

I found mine in the sunroof drains. They were plugged up. If you are interested I have a bunch of pictures of where to find them and what I did. I think I solved the problem. Send me an email.
