Wet seat belts

Anyone have this problem? The rear shoulder harness belts are damp whenever it rains hard. Must be a leak somewhere. I have the factory roof rack...

I havn't noticed this in my HHR yet. I did have a Pontiac Montana with the roof rack that had this problem the carpet of the driver side just behind the sliding door would get wet too. Same thing there, only after a really hard rain. The leak was never found in the van. Hope you can get yours straightened out. Best of luck!

check the drains on the sunroof tracks, maybe get a can of that computer compressed air, and try to blow them out

I seldom have passengers in the back seat but I'll try to remember to check them the next time it rains. I, too, have a roof rack.

Cool Thanks! I know the area around the molding that you are talking about and the pin, but didn't dawn on me to put some silicone on it! :)..

Since I also squeezed some silicon in the gap between the roof panel and the quarter panel (where they join up), you might want to check that out too. I can't be sure which spot "worked". Good luck.
