Wet windows

I had this on my previous car, an '03 cavalier, and now on my '08 HHR.
It seems that after a good rain, the doors hold the water in for a long time.
6 or 8 hours after the rain stops, I roll the power windows down and back up, and there are wet streaks all over the outside of it. Shouldnt it be dry by then if it was just the wiper strips that got soaked?
Does anyone else notice this?

Yep, I have that too. I think it is probably normal for them to still be wet 6-8 hours after raining. The squeegee on the door that is. Happened on my Ford Explorer also.

Mine does it too. It annoys the out of me. Went to the dealer to see about getting the weather strip lubricant, priced at $70. Doesn't annoy me that much anymore

I have a similar problem of the window getting streaked even when dry. Upon roll up, there is a strip of mung the whole height of the window, drives me nuts too.

Happens all the time. Just have to carry some micro fiber clothes, and find a little spray bottle and fill it with windex. I do the same thing but with quick detail spray. Lots o' bugs out in the country.
