what is this green goo?
is the driveshaft boot filled with grease? here is a pic of what im talking about. i know it was caused by the driveshaft being at an extreme angle but whats the fix?

Yes, there's definitely grease inside the boot. That looks like what has happened. Did you rotate the shaft and check for a crack in the boot? I've never seen one leak like that without a tear or crack in it... You may have to wipe it all off and then take it for a quick spin to tell for sure. Any noise from the CV joint at all?

thanks hhrcrafty i will do what ever you want, but it doesnt get driven like that i ride around at the same height you lowered guys do. i found the problem i burned a small pin hole while welding i fixed the stock boot and regreased it. lesson learned no need to slap my hand sir

since the boot has leaked i have stopped dragging the front. and now that its all back together its a little lower. soon the back will be what i drag. thanks esmarkey
