What's going on?!

Well I now have my first real problem with the SS. It has been raining like mad here the last couple days, no problems until tonight, my drivers side foot well, under the drivers side seat and drivers side rear foot well all decided to be a host to an abundance of water. There is no evident water above the floor, no drips, no streams nothing. Any idea what's going on? I have no modifications to the vehicle that would effect it like this.

I have searched and haven't really found anything that fits my problem. I will be calling the dealer tomorrow.

Also I have noticed that when it rains there is usually a build up of fog on the interior windows and the interior, steering wheel etc feel moist almost.

If you have a sun roof check the drain tubes in the front corners. I have seen post here where they plug up and the driver side will flood.

There also is a plug cover under the cowl cover that will leak. But I think it leaks in on the passenger side. Some one may be able to give better details as I am working from a poor memory.

Check the drains first as they are the easiest.

I would think that but it came on all of the sudden. I was at work, no water, got my haircut, 15 minutes, come back to the car, lots of water.

i had a similar issue. thre was no drain tube installed for the sunroof. id pull off the a pillars and see if they are there a good blast of compressed air will clear them out. thats what we do with the speed sensor on older mastercrafts that use water pressure for speed sensing.

Turns out there were at least 5 points of water entry... 5 points! Not just plugged drains, they were missing or broken seals... Thanks for the quality car GM...

They have my entire interior out, padding is being replaced.

It's when you have to scrape the ice off the inside of the screen that it gets really annoying. Looks like it's been snowing on the dashboard.
