I looked at Google Maps for your location. Too close to the Airport, those jets vibrated the fixture off.

Maybe Wheelie just wanted some extra attention?

HAHAA!!, I don't think the jets played a part of Wheelie's dome light popping off, No airplanes fly above our neighborhood, so I can cancel that thory off..LOL

Heehee, Wheelie has all the attention he can possibly get Karen, in the last month, we have gone to two trips, One to Gulfport Mississippi, which is a 120 mile trip back and forth, AND we went to Baton Rouge Louisiana, about a 110 mile trip, and I stay in Wheelie for about an hour each day just listening to my church worship music...I think it was just a strange accident, Wheelie is even suprised that it happened, he is sooo remorseful...But I'll get it fixed. :)

Ya know, it could be related to something I have experienced.

About 5 times since I purchased the car, I have noticed the interior (passenger side of rear view mirror) light on, unexpectedly. I then discovered it was from "slamming" my door. The passenger courtesy mirror button pops out (sometimes)....appparently from the build of interior pressure when I close the door. I was puzzeled a long time about this. But happened to notice one night the one light stayed on after the rest went out.

Also noticed, while investigating this, when you slam the door the sun-roof "bounces" up about an inch 2.

Maybe when you close your door, the interior pressure caused the light to fall.

Intresting theory Snoopy!, thanks for the info, When I take Wheelie to the doctor (Mr Goodwrench) I'll be sure to mention that to the serviceman, maybe they can superglue the light and securely fasten it where it belongs. :)

Perhaps we HHRians should write this problem to GM, so they can address this. :)

Gotta ask the same question. When I close my driver's door normally, I notice a slight lift in the sunroof but not an inch worth.

We all like to hear about happy endings. So did Wheelie just have a defective part or just looking for more attention?
