So I took my son hiking today and parked in a grassy area. I did not notice that there was a small stump about 2' in front of us. after our hike got back in and went to pull away. car is ****ed! twisted and broke IC, trans cooler, radiator and front bumper. Ill post pics when I can. Thank god I still got her started as where we went hinking was a few miles from anywhere!

On the plus side I'll pony up the extra cash for an aftermarket IC, a full paint job and some racing stripes. Just so pissed, I haven't wrecked a car in 15 years!

The exterior damage is slight, but yeah some internals are screwed! I was maybe going 3mph.

Dang that horrible man. I know you just posted something about the fuel pump or evap issues. Hopefully no more problems for ya.

That tricked out ford focus is starting to look better and better.

 

My husband did the same thing to our Ford Fusion. Parked next to a rock which he forgot was there... until he pulled over it! Traded that Fusion for my HHR so worked out fine for me but I feel your pain.

 

C'mon now you don't wanna do that.
The bumper don't look to bad. I mean it's got damage but not as bad as I was expecting. But the internals that broke really suck. Ugh I I'd go crazy.

Since the IC is busted, no boost what so ever, I was darn lucky to make it home. But I am kinda stoked as this gives me the opportunity to get the litte hail dings, scratches and such repaired. I think I will have a cowl hood done too, if possible. Just sucks... a two car family just went to 1

 

Well hopefully you can get it all done and be better than before. Like when nole had his bumper torn by the bear. Came back with the SS bumper.

I just got the new automobile magazine comparing the st against the gti. Sweet ride. They say to not get your hopes up on a rs500 or a higher performance model. But who knows.
