Since the IC is busted, no boost what so ever, I was darn lucky to make it home. But I am kinda stoked as this gives me the opportunity to get the litte hail dings, scratches and such repaired. I think I will have a cowl hood done too, if possible. Just sucks... a two car family just went to 1
foolmoon- Sorry to learn this man !!! I agree, good time to make her better than before !!!

Spent morning working out the details. Waiting on tow truck now. Gonna have a bunch of extras done. Almost feels like taking someone to the emergency room for surgery. Ohh my poor baby. Gonna get new shoes, a paint job, body Work, warranty Work, some internal stuff, and a wash and wax. Ill be pacing like an expectant father until she comes home. Only pissy thing is two claims, two deductibles to get the dings out.
Im also hoping I can talk them into giving me a Camaro as a loner.

Chevymgr, do those key words and phrases still Work for customer loyalty? I sure hope so, cuz I used every single one and then some. Maybe not the smartest or cheapest to bring it to the dealer, but every bit of work done on the car, except mods, have been done through the dealer.
Thanks guys for the support. I must be nuts to care this much about a car.

That'll buff right out............................................... ......................of the rock.

I've done stupid stuff so have many others. It's just part of the glorious life we endure. With all the money you've paid and will be paying, you might as well change your Last Will and Testament so that you'll be burried in it.
Hate that it happened.....your SS is definatly sweet!!

foolmoon- It'll be like a new HHR when done man..

Your 4 yr old will remember that for life.. (very Cool)..

As far as the waxing, may need to wait for paint to cure.. Least we used to have to with older type paints..

Yeah, just too cool. Mike(the driver) is a great guy for doing that.
I think I'll remember it too. I wish more people treated kids this way.

I should have known better after my prior experience with Dave Kirk automotive. Tney have had my car now for two weeks. I found out today that the car still has nit had the broken parts replaced, nor has the car been painted. I am so pissed! I have complained to usaa as well as the service manager. ****ing rednecks!. I could have ordered the parts myself and had the bumper painted in a week.

Wow I'd be pissed too. That's outrageous. Hopefully they get a move on it.
