When it rains it pours

Just a little update. Looks like between what im doing and what the insurance is doing its gonna be around 5k worth of fixings to the ss. And it is now going on three weeks without my car. This sucks! Guys and gals don't wreck it. You be sorry. The guys at my track are gonna think I died or left town.

Part of the five k is rims, tires, and all those lovely hail dings, scratches, and pait chipping on the nose. Tree stump was 1500. Hail 2000. Rims and tires are the rest. Evap and or fuel pump should be warranty.

Sorry to see your ride's still down.
I'm surprised it ran.
When I broke the endcap on my IC it wouldn't start.
I tried and tried but it just played dead so I thought it was an interference system.
I had it towed home, posted a WTB and had a like new stock IC from Crazy Steve (for less than 50% of retail) in about 3-4 days.
Hope you get it done for the Dragon meet.

Ok, going to pick up car. Not all work is done but I gotta get some track time in or I'm gonna start shooting chipmunks with an AK from my porch.
They never got my rims or tires, and only at the last minute figured out it was the fuel tank pressure sensor that was bad. so it goes back in on Monday, but they are letting me take it home so I can vent some frustrations on the 1/8 tonight.
Think I'll get tires and rims elsewhere, because three weeks is more than enough time to have located what I wanted. Horribly bad service. they think im bringing it back on Monday, no sir, Jim at Rockwood is gonna hook me up.
I would try and change the fuel pressure sensor myself, I just don't think I am capable of dropping the gas tank in my garage. If I do tackle this though I'll be sure to either write up a nice how-to or post pictures of a burned out house and car.lol..
A huge thanks goes out to Chevymgr for answering some last minute questions. Thank you Brad

Chipmunks are gonna die! I am not a happy camper. 15 lousy pounds of boost. Im pissed I immediately turned my ass around and I am writing this while in the service bay. Either a bad tmap or ecm reflashed to stock.
