Windows stuck down!

Help! I put my windows down and now they are all stuck in the down position? When I push the switches I hear a click but that's all! I tried all of the switches but none are working to put my windows back up and its supposed to rain tonight

Happened to me in my Monte Carlo. The driver door switch has died.

Thanks, Got it fixed. Was actually the under hood fuse. It looked ok but when I switched it out with another one they worked again. Just had to run to the auto parts store to get a new fuse. Thanks for your help though. I knew someone on here would reply to my call for assistance!

But OP said none of the windows work.

This would indeed be consistent with a fuse.

And on some cars it can be the drivers door switch.

I agree, but it did happen in the Monte Carlo. Driver's side switch failed and no window would work.

Glad it was a fuse - it wasn't with mine. $300+ to fix!

Which would still be consistent with a blown fuse, tripped circuit breaker, or bad relay. OP was correct checking fuse first.
