LOl - true dat!!! But ya see, I am always right!!! Well, not really - once I thought I was wrong, but it turns out I was only mistaken.

As I used to tell my late wife, jokingly, I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!

At least I was not the only one confused.

What exactly do you mean by "turning over" "cranking" "running" and "starting"? Evidently you have different definitions.

Thumbs up

Hey good evening guys, Whooper you hit it on the head, thank you kindly Sir. To all others my apologies for the lack of clarification, " donbrew " and "Whopper" you guys are awesome, after following your advice it finally started and stayed running yesterday but as luck would have it the eng light popped on & thru a (P0107) code popped up. Oh well... It's running at least. Thanks again guys and of course any advice is welcomed.

Good stuff.

Ok - P0107 = Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage, which points to the MAP sensor. It's located at the front of the engine, just above the throttle body - and is in a rather snug spot (and probably a good spot to collect water/moisture).

Here is a link to a thread about replacing/inspecting it: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...acement-49757/

The writer said it was $116 at his dealer, but I think I paid about $60 or so at Autozone. I picked up the part, but haven't replaced it yet as the code was a one-time hit for me.

Try unplugging it, and hit the insides of the plugs with WD40 (I swear by that stuff - can't you tell?). Or, give it another day or two and see if it too dries out.

do keep us posted - this was an interesting one (I am easily amused :)....)
