True!! I never look at the join date. Just notice a low post number. Too many hours working causes lack of attention

No problems with carpet wear here either...but as many know...Smoke doesn't have a ton of miles either. Just went over 7600 yesterday...but will be putting 1200+ on him this weekend. However, I do have some nice floormats I got at Walmart that protect the carpeting too.

Yup, i have been a lurker... didn't realize i signed up so long ago... If i presented my issue to my dealer do you think GM would fix the carpet issue?

I have not notived this on mine. It did come with the upgraded mats though. Not sure if they are actually "better" than the stocks. So far no issues.

Not likely. It would be deemed normal wear I suspect unless your clutch pedal is improperly positioned thus causing the wear. Nothing ventured, nothing gained though.
