Catless DP HP & TQ #'s

When I bought my SS I changed the dp to a catless dp & added a full 3" exhaust, then I added a cold air intake & all was well, well for 7 months then the HP bug hit, still with the stock program I put the panel on a Dynojet brand Dyno & here's the #'s I got, HP 258.49 between 5000-5600 rpm & TQ 323.02 at 3200 rpm, temp 57 deg, Humidity 53%.

hey ss, What tune was dynoed with the intake,dp and exhaust? I thought the stock tune was torque limiting if thats what you meant by stock program.

I put the SS on the Dyno because I wanted a base line, I later bought the HPTuner & very glad I went that way, it wouldn't have been much of a tune with 260 hp at the wheels.

Ok I am just starting to look into this pcm and I am planning the same mods. Getting a catless dp this winter and some sticky rubber then tuning in the spring.

BTW your best trap speed is quick! I was at the track with my gxp last week and best 13.8@98(stock tires 5spd gm tune)

Hit a 100mph a few times but couldn't put the 60' with it.

I would not add HP/TQ until I installed the TTR motor mounts, the Bad Mab Catless DP is a very nice piece & the price is right, the cold air intake is also a good start, unless your a grandma upgrade the shifter to a TWM, top it off with the HPTuner, the 26x9-15 M/T DR's work OK at 16 psi, I'll blame the 107.83 trap speed on the E-47 Tune, 104.00 on 92.
