0-60 time on a 2010 2.2L automatic?

Red face 0-60 time on a 2010 2.2L automatic?

Are there any published 0-60 times for the 2.2L automatic HHR? Mine is a 2010 if that matters much. I am guessing somewhere around 10 seconds if not more. It's not that quick off the line.

Back in 06, I searched for all the 0-60 times for the HHR. I could find every one, except the 2.2 auto. Here's what I did find. Mind you, the auto's gearing changed in year 2 or 3.

2.4/Auto
0-60=8.37
1/4=16.35
1/4 MPH=85.2

2.4/5 Speed
0-60=7.9
1/4=16.2
1/4 MPH=87.2

2.2/5 Speed
0-60=8.51
1/4=16.63
1/4 MPH=84.95

My previous car was a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier coupe. It had a 2.2L OHV 8 valve 4 cylinder that put out 115 horsepower with a 3 speed automatic. It weighed somewhere around 2600 or 2700 pounds. My 2010 HHR has a 2.2L DOHC 16 valve 4 cylinder that puts out 155 horsepower (160 on E85) with a 4 speed automatic. It weighs somewhere around 3200 or 3300 pounds. The HHR doesn't feel much quicker than the Cavalier did despite the 40 extra horses. The 600 extra pounds is probably a lot of the reason that it doesn't feel any quicker. The HHR is, however, a much better highway car. The overdrive gear keeps the RPMs low and the HHR has cruise control which is something the Cavalier lacked. Around town, they're about the same except the HHR has larger blind spots. As far as utility goes, it is no contest. The HHR is far more practical than the Cavalier was. As far as gas mileage goes, they get about the same mileage on the highway. I never checked the city mileage for the Cavalier but I suspect it was similar to the in-town mileage for the HHR. That old Cavalier was tough. It had 220K on it when I finally had to let it go because the transmission pan got damaged by a pothole and it started to slip badly. The engine still ran like it did when it was new and I'm sure if the transmission hadn't been damaged that I would still be driving it. The HHR has about 133K on it. I hope the HHR lasts as long (or longer) than the Cavalier did. The Cavalier had a lot of little things wrong with it (the worst of those being no working A/C) so the HHR is much more enjoyable to drive for that reason. The Cavalier handled better on curvy roads because it had a much lower center of gravity. I took the HHR over some mountain roads over the weekend and it handled the curves much better than I expected it to. I didn't push it but it went where I pointed the wheel and didn't complain and felt completely stable.
