When we returned from Florida , the left front hub was making noise, I had a known good used spare in the shed, installed that April 30th, last week the other side started to make noise, and Wednesday the known used hub said HaHa and it started making noise, on Wednesday I ordered up a pair of Timken hubs from RockAuto, and a new rear transmission mount, installed those today, peace and quiet. Ahhh

I can see why people report, a shake after replacing just the rear transmission mount, the height difference in the crushed down mount and the new mount is almost an inch.
My email alert tells me the new front mount is out for delivery today.
I will say a nasty clunk I’ve had forever, if I lift off the brakes at a light and have to stop again there was a metal to metal clunk, the rear mount shows signs of that wear.
I’ll take pictures too!

Today a run to Sweetie’s doctor for a follow up appointment, just a check up!

Ive got a new upper engine mount on order, as it is pretty well worn. Luckily, both lower mounts seem to be in good condition. Checked using Power Brake method. Upper mount had WAY too much movement. Maybe my highway shimmy will be gone once and for all after replacing it like on Oldblue?

Is everyone alright? Sorry ,you just got it back on the road

I thought my transmission mounts were looking good too!
But, no their not, it doesn’t taken much to mess them up, like 11 years and 429,000 klms or 266,568 miles.
