New MOOG Control Arm Bushing?
#12
At three years and 125,000 klms, or 77,671 miles, the K200792 Moog bushings have loosened up enough to cause a shake whilst braking at highway speeds.
I’ve replaced them with the Moog K201285 zinc coated bushings

Moog Music was started by Bob Moog, an electrical engineer from Cornell university in Ithaca NY.
In its heyday it was located here in Buffalo NY.
The first big break for synthesized music was "Switched-On Bach", a classical music album that was a huge seller (1968?).

My reference was to Emerson Lake and Palmer. Keith Emerson really got the synthesizer rockin'.
DJ John Peel went so far as to describe the band as "a tragic waste of talent and electricity", lots of electricity.

The name Moog Music has taken a few turns.

If these are just plain spherical bearings, they should litterlly last forever if lubricated and contaminents kept out.
Why do you or Moog think they failed? Poor materials, poor seals?
And what about the newer zinc ones, how are they doing?
I'm ordering a bunch of front parts right now. I'm up to 600 bucks or so.
